Hey Jamily! The FPA is officially soliciting bids for FPA Worlds 2029.
We are shifting to a 2-year planning window for site selections. Moving to this timeline gives host teams more time to secure local sponsors and organize logistics, while giving players and fans enough notice to plan their travel and competition schedules well in advance.
Key Bid Requirements & Timeline:
- Venue Setup: Primary consideration goes to outdoor venues, provided there is a reliable indoor contingency option nearby in case of rain.
- Deadline: December 1, 2026. Site selections will be finalized shortly after the submission window closes.
Looking Ahead: 2026 through 2028 This long-term approach builds on where our championship circuit is heading. Munich 2026 set a great practical standard for us—we spent most of the tournament on a wide grass field, and when weather moved in, we shifted to the indoor facility without losing time or momentum.
Next up, we head to Medellín in 2027 to experience a Latin American host site with strong local support and high community engagement. After that, Prague 2028 will bring us back to a traditional hub known for large player turnouts and deep competition brackets. We want to carry that exact momentum straight into 2029.

Side Note: Additional Event Concepts
Beyond the World Championship, we are open to ideas for secondary major events. If you have proposals for a Beach Major, an event in Japan or other novel locations, or bringing back regional formats similar to the EFOs or AFOs, you can submit those concepts through the same form above.
